For those who also demand the best from the rear brake, Brembo offers a high performance kit that is interchangeable with the original components on the majority of European and Japanese hypersports models.
The caliper body is entirely machined from billet metal, while ultra-precise FEM analysis has been used to optimise both weight and stiffness. The caliper comes complete with sintered pads – the state of the art in braking technology currently available on the market. Brembo's engineers have dedicated particular attention to ensuring superb braking control even in the poor grip conditions arising when weight shifts from the rear wheel to the front. The kit is compatible with the original master cylinders and discs of all major hypersports models.
On the majority of European bikes, the Brembo rear caliper kit is interchangeable with the original calipers and may be installed directly on the original caliper bracket. For use on Japanese hypersports bikes, the kit includes a billet adapter bracket for fitting the caliper under the wheel axle: This is a standard solution in the racing world, which lowers the centre of gravity of the bike.
